The app replaces manual measurement workflows and repeated trial-and-error image captures with a structured, step-by-step digital process that ensures consistency, accuracy, and repeatability.
Traditionally, visual measurements taken using mobile cameras depend heavily on automatic camera settings, leading to inconsistent results and unreliable calculations. LQ Scan addresses this challenge by giving users full control over camera parameters such as ISO, shutter speed, and focus, allowing precise image capture tailored to the measurement scenario.
Key Capabilities
User Onboarding & Context Setup
First-time login via Google Sign-In, capturing user details such as name, email, occupation, and purpose of measurement to contextualize usage without interrupting the workflow.
Controlled Image Capture
Users can manually adjust camera parameters using sliders or direct numeric input, ensuring stable and repeatable image acquisition before proceeding to analysis.
Targeted Scanning & Burst Capture
An adjustable scanning frame allows users to precisely select the region of interest. Images are captured in burst mode to improve calculation reliability and reduce noise.
Calculation & Result Management
Measurement results are displayed alongside the captured image, with options to reprocess, review detailed calculations, or repeat measurements. Users can store up to 10 results, manage them individually, and export data as a CSV file for further use.
